Hatchlist hosts product waitlists. The service only works if you trust us with email addresses, so this page says plainly what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
If you join a waitlist: your email address, your position in the queue, whether you arrived through a referral link, and when you joined. That's the list.
If you host a waitlist: your account email and password (the password is stored hashed by our authentication provider, never in plain text), plus the details of the listings you create.
We don't run advertising trackers, we don't use third-party analytics cookies, and we don't buy or enrich data about you from anyone.
What we do with it
Waitlist emails exist so the founder you signed up with can contact you about their product, and so we can show you your queue position. Founders can export the emails of their own waitlist's members. That is the product working as described, and it's the only sharing that happens by design.
We never sell email addresses. We never share one founder's list with another. We don't email a waitlist ourselves except for transactional messages about that waitlist, such as confirming you joined.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in the United States) and served through Cloudflare. Both process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Your choices
Want off a waitlist, or your data deleted entirely? Email hello@hatchlist.com from the address in question and we'll remove it. Founders can delete their account and listings the same way. We answer within a few days, usually faster.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes get a note on the site before they take effect.
