Terms of Service

Effective 23 August 2026

Hatchlist lets founders host product waitlists and lets early adopters find and join them. Using the service means agreeing to these terms.

Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping its credentials to yourself. You must be able to form a binding contract to host a waitlist here.

Listings and moderation

Every listing is reviewed before it appears in the directory, and we decide what gets published. We reject or remove listings that are misleading, illegal, infringing, or spam, and we may remove a listing or account that games the referral system with fake signups. The directory carries pre-launch products; once yours ships, its listing graduates out of the pre-launch shelf.

Your data, your list

Emails collected by your waitlist belong to your relationship with your subscribers. Export them whenever you like. Use them lawfully: people joined to hear about your product, and applicable email law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and the like) applies to what you send them after export.

The service itself

Hatchlist is provided as-is, without warranties, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data beyond what you paid us in the last twelve months. We work to keep the service up and your data safe, and we don't promise perfection.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@hatchlist.com. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes get posted on the site before they take effect, and continued use after that means acceptance.
